Flashcards for EFL/ESL

English Raven has an impressive assortment of more than 1300 downloadable flashcards/game cards designed to help introduce vocabulary items into classroom English lessons, and facilitate games and activities. Most of the cards included here are small enough to be used for name-and-pass as well as flip-over memory games, and most sets have a backing identifying the generic themes involved. The cards are probably best suited to smaller classes of 6-12 students, or in larger class situations where the teacher can implement and control effective group work activities. – The English Raven flashcards have been fully formatted and are ready to be printed and applied in the classroom. However, it is recommended that teachers take the time to laminate their cards and trim off the corners, to give them a longer life and make them safe for use with young children. – You can also access a range of super-size flashcards at this link.
